Well received txt to book shingles jab. Turned up on the day. However when called in the nurse said she could not give me the jab as I am not quite 65 by 8 weeks
I usually get text messages when required. I also get reminders at least 2 days before so no problems.
I was referred by my own surgery for treatment. The nurses and the Dr I saw were exemplary in their care and approach. All appointments were offered in a timely manner and the surgery itself was airy, clean and welcoming.
Phoned early 8am, and was given am appointment same day at 11am. Very grateful for this. Seen by Emily, listened to my problems, given examinations . Advised on further assessment needed Also advised to take more pain relief meds . Emily made me feel listened too. Very grateful.
Also advice from receptionist for where to get local Covid booster
Called in the morning after a bank holiday weekend. The lines were very busy as expected, number 17 in the call queue but speaking with the receptionist about my young son, we weee offered an appointment that afternoon. A new young doctor saw my son and wasn’t afraid to help me in assessing him, my son is not the easiest of patients. Listened to my request at a medication with less doses through the day and gave advice on what to look out for. The surgery are always brilliant at ensuring my children are seen on the day I call to report their illness.
